In fact, the Ducati Multistrada is designed to not just be a sport bike and a long distance tourer, but 4 categories of motorcycles all in one package. In addition to being a sport bke and touring motorcycle, the Ducati Multistrada 1200 is also designed for low speed city settings and off-road trail riding. Yes, off-road trail riding, that's what I said. How many sportbikes do you know of that you can take literally take off-road, and then back on again? I know, me either.

But that's exactly what you can do with the Ducati Multistrada 1200 motorcycle. By way of the super sized and extremely high tech dashboard controls, you electronically set the Multistrada up in the configuration you want, and the motorcycle takes care of the rest. If you want a lot of horsepower, or sportbike performance, set the bike to Sport mode, and you'll instantly have around 150 horsepower, quicker throttle, and a stiffer suspension.
Want a softer ride, so you can cruise around a bit? Switch the controls on the Ducati Multistrada to Touring, and the bike softens the suspension to provide a far more comfortable ride. With the addition of traction control to Touring, you can also ride the Multistrada for just about as long as you would any other touring motorcycle without any discomfort.
And that's about how the Ducati Multistrada functions over all four levels of setup. Change the horsepower, up or down, depending on the action required of the motorcycle. Soften or tighten the suspension, increase or decrease the traction complete the process of moving from sport to touring to urban to enduro. Oh, and I forgot that the throttle response on the twist grip will also be changed according to your riding needs.
