The Can Am Spyder Roadster is a special three wheeled motorcycle that is unique as unique a motorcycle as you can purchase currently. While the Can Am Spyder Roadster has been on sale since 2007, it took 11 long years from a first idea to design to production for Bombardier and Can Am to finally produce the motorcycle!

The beefy Can Am Spyder Roadster, as opposed to regular trikes, has one rear wheel and two front wheels for steering. The Spyder Roadster is a belt driven motorcycle, which is driven from the rear of the motorcycle. The drive train is somewhat similar to a snowmobile in design (which makes since with Can Am producing it). The transmission of the Can Am Spyder Roadster is a 5 speed transmissions, with an actual reverse gear, all driving a 106 horsepower engine!

The design is quite different, but there is no need for concern with rollovers. This Can Am Spyder Roadster has a Vehicle Stability System with rollover mitigation. The system enables the rider to have maximum control so if the motorcycle becomes instable, the Roadster's system will take over and stabilize itself. Having this feature helps the rider keep the motorcycle on the road and upright!

The sheer power of the Spyder Can Am Roadster motorcycle along with the massive size is the only 3 wheeler in this class of motorcycle.
